1. Data controller

The controller of personal data collected through aivonagent.com isDavid Marin Salinas, natural person trading under the commercial brand AIVON, with contact address in Tallinn, Estonia. Contact: info@aivonagent.com

2. Data we collect

We collect personal data through two channels:

  • Contact form: first and last name, email address, company name (optional) and free-text message.
  • Support chat (Chatwoot widget): messages you send through the chat, together with technical data such as IP address and browser user agent, are stored on our own server located in the European Union.

3. Use of artificial intelligence

The support chat may be assisted by artificial intelligence tools to speed up responses. No automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects will be taken based solely on conversation data (Art. 22 GDPR). Human oversight is always maintained in processes affecting users.

4. Purpose and legal basis

Data is used exclusively to respond to your enquiry or quote request and to provide the support chat service. The legal basis is the data subject's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

5. Retention

Contact form data is retained for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and, where applicable, until the end of the contractual relationship plus applicable legal retention periods. Chat conversations are retained for a maximum of 12 months, unless you request deletion sooner.

6. Recipients and processors

Data is not shared with third parties except where required by law. We work with the following processors:

  • Formspree Inc. — contact form processing, with servers in the United States under EU–US Data Privacy Framework safeguards.
  • Chatwoot (self-hosted) — only if you accept its use in the cookie notice. Open-source chat platform hosted on our own EU server. Chat data is not shared with Chatwoot's external servers.
  • Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) — only if you accept analytics cookies. Measures, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how the site is used, with servers that may be located in the United States under EU–US Data Privacy Framework safeguards. You can reject these cookies at any time.

7. Cookies

This website uses the following types of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary: a single technical cookie (browser local storage) that remembers your choice on this notice. It does not require consent because its only purpose is to remember your preference.
  • Chat and analytics (optional): Chatwoot (support chat) and Google Analytics, which are only installed if you expressly accept this category in the cookie panel. If you do not accept it, the support chat is not available.

You can accept, reject or change your cookie preferences at any time from the cookie notice, or by clearing your browser data.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to info@aivonagent.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority or with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon — aki.ee), the supervisory authority of the controller's country of establishment.
